As a recognized training center, the Barmelweid Clinic employs assistant physicians (UA) in the clinical routine in the field of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy. As an assistant physician, you work on our mixed wards where we treat patients with eating disorders, affective disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, trauma-related disorders as well as dissociative, somatoform, and chronic pain disorders.
What you will move with us
- you work in a multiprofessional team
- you care for our inpatient psychosomatic/psychiatric patients – under supervision – together with team members assigned to you
- you gain a comprehensive insight into psychotherapeutic work and the treatment process by participating in group and individual therapies, attending our team and case supervisions as well as ward rounds

- as assistant physicians in the elective study year (CH) or internship year/PJ (D) – or after consultation also as a clinical clerkship (D) or in another phase of medical training
- with your interest in the fields of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, with your initiative, commitment, and resilience
