Certified nurses for the Adult Intensive Care Unit

To complete its team, the intensive care unit is looking for several certified nurses between 80% and 100%.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.

The Adult Intensive Care Unit (SMIA) provides clinical care for all adult medical and surgical patients at CHUV requiring intensive medical services. It fulfills both a university hospital role (highly specialized medicine, complex care), with priority missions of a supra-cantonal nature such as major burn victims and heart or lung transplant patients, as well as a local role for patients from the Lausanne region.

Mission

• You care for all types of patients in intensive care
• You welcome, assess, and manage emergency situations
• You collaborate with other health professionals within the framework of interdisciplinary care
• You provide specific care and take appropriate measures according to needs in complex situations
• You ensure continuity and traceability of care through the use of communication tools.

Profile

• Specialized intensive care nurse or strong interest in pursuing post-diploma training.
• You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent recognized title as well as Red Cross recognition for staff certified abroad, mandatory)
• At least one year of experience in an acute care unit, ability to work independently while being interested in multidisciplinary teamwork and advanced technologies
• Possess interpersonal, adaptability, analytical, and stress management skills
• Demonstrate dynamism, speed, anticipation, precision, autonomy, and loyalty.

Depending on your profile, the salary scale will be between level 8 and level 9.
