SUISA is the cooperative of authors and publishers of music. Over 44,000 composers, lyricists, and music publishers are organized in the company founded in 1923. SUISA enables music to be used publicly and ensures that the music creators are fairly paid for this use. With sister companies worldwide, it represents the rights of a total of two million authors and publishers. SUISA employs over 200 staff at locations in Zurich, Lausanne, and Lugano.

The "Distribution and International Documentation" department with around 35 employees ensures that the revenues from music uses at home and abroad are correctly recorded and distributed to the entitled parties. This requires the development and maintenance of documentation of internationally used musical works. For this, it exchanges information with internal teams as well as partner organizations worldwide. 

These activities inspire you

• You are responsible for the accurate documentation of internationally used musical works in Switzerland and the assignment to the rights holders
• You are responsible for the correct and transparent distribution of revenues from all music uses
• You ensure the timely billing to our members and international partners
• You continuously check and optimize internal processes, including quality and plausibility checks
• You lead and develop your employees
• You work closely with management on adjustments to the distribution regulations or processes
• You represent the company in national and international working groups to coordinate documentation and distribution work

• You have a commercial education, preferably supplemented by a specialist or business management further education
• You are an experienced leader and know how to apply your expert knowledge to tackle complex professional tasks
• You have analytical, networked thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
• You have experience in project management and are practiced in efficiently further developing processes
• You enjoy business management issues (e.g., financial distribution models, billing logic)
• You demonstrate high precision and reliability in dealing with numbers and data
• You have an interest in the music business and copyright law 
• You lead with clarity and empathy and understand how to motivate and develop your team
• You feel comfortable in a complex, international environment
• You communicate confidently in German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
