The Tax Section manages and assesses nearly 15,400 taxpayers in Aarau with around 20 employees and ensures the collection of tax claims.

For our Assessment team, we are looking for a

Tax Assessor (70-100%)

Your main responsibilities

Independent assessment of the assigned files of employed taxpayers
Optional participation in the assessment of real estate capital gains taxes
Independent handling of objections and legal remedies
Providing information to taxpayers, representatives, and authorities
Contributing to professional discussions and regular knowledge exchange

Your profile

Commercial basic training and ideally further education in the field of taxes (preferably CAS public administration level II)
Enjoyment of assessment activities
Efficient, pragmatic, and independent working style
Confident oral and written communication
Negotiation skills, customer orientation, and good legal sense
Motivated personality who communicates openly and transparently, enjoys engaging with people, and shows appreciation
