Educational Staff Member for Daycare Halden, approx. 50% over 5 days per week

Your new role

You will share responsibility for a multicultural group of children aged between 4 and 13 years and accompany them in everyday and leisure activities. Together with a committed team, you ensure the best possible support, care, and guidance for the children. You will cover group leader duties during holiday and sick absences and can also be assigned fixed weekly shifts if needed. The socio-educational work is based on our framework concept and quality guidelines.

This position is suitable for you if you

• have a qualified education in the field of care (at least EFZ).
• have experience and enjoy dynamic and lively work with children and their life worlds.
• are characterized by a benevolent and solution-oriented attitude.
• like to take responsibility, work in a team, and are resilient and reliable.
• are willing to take on irregular assignments and be flexibly deployed.

At 15 locations, we care for over 2000 school children from the city’s primary schools and kindergartens in the respective neighborhoods. At five additional locations, we run lunch tables for teenagers from the city’s secondary schools.
