Experienced planner

Do you have solid experience with the Planning Act, local planning, and municipal planning in cities or rural areas as well as managing planning processes? If this sounds like you, this position could be the right opportunity. You will become part of Ramboll's planning team in the environmental assessment department. As our new experienced planner, you will work with a strong team of project managers, planners, environmental assessment experts, and biologists, all passionate about creating a sustainable future and a great working environment.
Your new role
As our new experienced planner, you will especially work with physical planning within renewable energy facilities and new types of businesses.
We work on many diverse tasks within physical planning, but our core tasks are particularly planning within renewable energy facilities such as solar cells and wind turbines as well as for new residential and commercial areas. We are looking for an employee with a sense for physical planning and knowledge of the Environmental Assessment Act, who will contribute to solving the wide range of tasks we handle in collaboration with our clients.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- work with physical planning especially in the form of local plans and municipal plan supplements in a company where we shape and solve tasks in close dialogue with our clients
- project manage planning tasks
- coordinate, collaborate and maintain dialogue on all sides, both internally and externally
- have insight into legislation in the planning and environmental area
- meet us with a good mood and have a positive approach and a welcoming manner towards citizens, developers, colleagues, and politicians
Your new team
You will become part of the planning team where we currently have 14 employees. The planning team is part of the environmental assessment department at Ramboll Denmark, where we currently have just over 70 employees spread across 4 locations. You will experience becoming part of a strong professional and social community where we help each other ensure success in our work and in collaboration with our clients. We find it important to have a good working environment where we also get along well with each other and where there is also room for social events.

We are located at four offices in Denmark: Aarhus, Aalborg, Copenhagen, and Vejle, and therefore we are flexible regarding where in the country you reside.
Your competencies
From the moment you start at Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development so that you develop together with the company. We have identified the following qualifications and skills that will help make you successful in the role:
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience within local planning or municipal planning
- You are educated as a landscape architect, urban planner, urban designer, architect, engineer, geographer, or similar
- You have good skills in written and oral communication
- You have experience with the Environmental Assessment Act
