Technician for Firefighting Systems and Workshops
After an introduction at the business headquarters in Bern and accompanied customer visits with the department head and colleagues from the technical team, you will gradually familiarise yourself with your area of responsibility. As a service technician, you will primarily be involved with commissioning, maintenance, and repairs. If you have questions or need support in daily operations, you can count on the straightforward assistance of your colleagues. You will be joining a well-coordinated, courteous team.
Your Responsibilities
- Point of contact for your customers regarding technical functionalities
- Implementation of commissioning as part of the project team
- Carrying out service and maintenance work
- Troubleshooting and repair work
- Consultations with the parent company on complex issues
- Close internal collaboration within the service team and with colleagues in sales
- Organisation and documentation of your activities
Your Profile
- Technical vocational training in mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
- Ideally experience as a member of a fire brigade and familiar with the needs of your customers
- High degree of independence and ability to plan and execute your tasks
- Communicative personality with enthusiasm for a regional role
- Very good command of the German language
