Our establishments – variety guaranteed

Our two themed restaurants and the take-away are centrally located in the village center of Leukerbad:

• Gilji's Take-Away – For everyone who doesn't want mainstream: Here you get juicy, authentic burgers with character.
• Steakhouse Oasis / Bar / Lounge – South American cuisine meets Tex-Mex enjoyment. Grilled dishes, ribs, spicy classics, and mild variants – fresh, fiery, diverse.
• Pizzeria Choucas – A lively, family-friendly restaurant with Italian specialties, a children's paradise, its own menu for kids, play and coloring corner, as well as occasional magic shows. Awarded the quality seal "Families welcome – 4 Kiddy’s".

Your tasks

Depending on your qualifications and experience, you will work as a cook or take on the role of head chef. Your main tasks include:

• Active participation in the kitchen of one or more of our establishments
• Leading the kitchen team (5–6 employees) in the corresponding position
• Ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen
• Active involvement in menu design & recipe development (a complete menu revision is planned for summer 2025)
• Ordering, inventory management, stock control & cost control
• Compliance with and control of quality and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Promoting and motivating the team, training new employees
• Responsibility for an attractive, contemporary, and efficient kitchen operation

Your profile

• Completed cook training or demonstrably equivalent professional experience
• Experience in à-la-carte kitchen, ideally in team leadership
• Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety
• Passion for cooking and enjoyment of guest contact – even indirectly through the plate
• Organizational talent, resilience, and personal responsibility
• Team player, open to criticism, and an open, communicative personality
• Creativity and willingness to contribute your ideas
• Language skills: French, German or English
• Friendly, well-groomed appearance
