Tasks/Responsibilities
What to expect:
- Work at the respective workplace according to work instructions
- Cleaning and maintenance work
- Crane operation (cabin and ground control) according to current safety standards
- Sampling of liquid steel, preparation and automatic testing
- Operation of vehicles (slag transporter, forklift) after training
- Temperature measurement of liquid steel and, if necessary, Celox measurement
- Control and reordering of operating materials
- Willingness to work in other production areas of the steelworks
Skills
What you bring:
- Completed school education and initial professional experience in a metalworking company, preferably as a machine operator, operations or production employee
- Interest in metal and industrial processes
- German language skills spoken and written at least level B1
- Independent and reliable working style
- Physical resilience (noise, dust, heat,)
- Forklift, crane and flame cutting course is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
