<p><b>The opportunity: Brand Manager</b></p><p></p><p><span>This position works out of our<span> </span></span><b>Abbott Diabetes Care division, Baar location in Switzerland.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description </b></p><p><b>1. Primary Objective of Position </b></p><p>• To develop marketing strategies, using all elements of the marketing mix, including brand development with the aim of increasing sales.</p><p>• Have a broad and deep product knowledge and be responsible for product trainings as appropriate.</p><p></p><p><b>2. Major Accountabilities </b></p><p>• To localize global/EMEAP marketing strategy to match the position of the brand in Switzerland and maximise brand potential.</p><p>• Input into developing plan to market product through the promotional campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix as appropriate.</p><p>• Develop or localize multichannel marketing projects in accordance with relevant functions.</p><p>• Budget planning and tracking for ensuring promotional campaigns are within agreed spending limits and A&P reporting is accurate, incl. accruals, for owned projects.</p><p>• Assist in preparing plan, LBE and LRP & S&OP as required.</p><p>• Liaising closely and influencing the sales management, brand team and sales team to ensure promotional campaigns are developed on strategy and executed effectively.</p><p>• Prepare, organize and conduct trainings to ensure sales teams are well trained and able to execute strategies effectively.</p><p>• Liaising closely with all support functions (including Medical, Regulatory, Customer Services, Manufacturing, External Agencies and Global/EMEA Marketing).</p><p>• Collating Competitor Intelligence from the market.</p><p>• Reporting Marketing KPIs as deemed necessary by the ACH management team and Global/EMEAP Marketing.</p><p>• Analyze KPIs to optimize campaigns and spendings/ROI</p><p>• Creating or localizing marketing material: ensure marketing material is developed, approved and produced according to branding guidelines and approval processes.</p><p>• Collaborating with external vendors and stakeholders regarding quotes, negotiations, contracts, POs.</p><p>• Working with relevant leaders and managers as well as peers to create and track in-country marketing plans and to communicate to the commercial organisation as appropirate.</p><p>• Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>3. Education</b></p><p>• University degree in Marketing or Business or relevant experience</p><p>• Languages: German (fluent), French (Good), English (good). Italian as a big plus.</p><p></p><p><b>4. Background EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: </b></p><p>• At least 5 years Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device Industry experience</p><p>• Minimum 3 years in Marketing and/or Sales including working with advertising/creative agencies</p><p>• Experience of working with MS Office</p><p></p><p><span><span>Do you like the sound of this job and think you’ve got what it takes?
