Assistant Physician Internal Medicine

If you also want to make a difference in people’s lives, these are your tasks:

• Medical care of inpatient and outpatient patients with predominantly multiple diagnoses and complex clinical pictures together with the senior physicians
• Careful medical documentation (maintaining the electronic medical record, concise and complete reporting, communication with referrers and institutions)
• Supplementing and expanding the existing team of the Department of Internal Medicine of 33 assistant physicians to maintain 24/7 operation 365 days a year

Become part of the Department of Internal Medicine with training status A, which with over 3,000 inpatient patients, over 20,000 emergencies, and more than 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service center of the hospital. In the medical outpatient clinic, specialist examinations and consultations in the fields of gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology, and oncology are also carried out.

• Willingness to show clearly above-average commitment and interest in patient care. Collegial behavior in the team.
• Completed studies in human medicine (MEBEKO recognition for studies abroad)
• One to two years of experience as an assistant physician in internal medicine is an advantage, but we also accept beginners with appropriate qualifications
• German language skills at level C1 are required, foreign languages are an advantage
• Networked, interdisciplinary and interprofessional thinking and acting as well as patient-oriented, committed and collegial personality
