This is what you will achieve with us
- Accompanying the structural development of a dynamic and diverse community at the forefront
- Contact person for builders and project authors in building permit procedures
- Responsibility for a building police district and independent examination and processing of building applications, preliminary inquiries, and building police cases
- Review of submissions, preparation of reports, and formulation of proposals for the building permit authority
- Drafting of consultations, reports, and proposals for the municipal council and appeal authorities
- Diploma course for Bernese building administrators in the building permit procedure (also possible as an intern) or willingness to complete it; alternatively, a university of applied sciences degree in architecture
- Several years of professional experience, ideally with a municipal building permit authority
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written form, negotiation skills, and healthy assertiveness
- Enjoyment of legal and procedural issues and an independent and self-reliant working style
- Motivation to work in a young, dynamic, and committed team
- A respectful, collegial collaboration and a good working atmosphere
- Compatibility of work and private life: annual working hours, part-time work, care days, and function-related home office
