Junior Cook or Cook (EFZ) 60-80% - Retirement and Nursing Home Sägematt

The retirement and nursing home Sägematt offers a home to 50 people in need of light to intensive care from Lengnau and the surrounding area. Of these, 12 places are in the residential group for dementia patients or people with special needs. We support and promote their existing resources and are particularly committed to meaningful and enjoyable life and daily activities.

Due to a staff shortage, we are looking for immediate hire

Junior Cook or Cook (EFZ) 60-80% (limited until 31.12.2025)

You bring with you

• Completed professional training as a cook EFZ
• Quality-oriented thinking and action
• Willingness to work interdisciplinarily
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Enjoyment of the profession, motivated, communicative and approachable
• Working hours without room hour until max. 6:00 p.m.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts
• Very good German skills in writing and speaking

Tasks

• Timely and needs-based preparation of meals for residents, staff, and visitors according to new nutritional physiological findings as well as appropriate diets.
• Professional and personnel planning of the daily routine
• Implementation of the hygiene concept, hygiene regulations according to the latest food law and according to "Best Practices"
• Assistance in training apprentices as cooks EFZ and kitchen assistants EBA
