About the job
Do you want to be involved in the coordination and further development of on-site inspections (VOK) throughout FINMA as well as the quality controls and reporting on these? Then you are in the right place with us!
Main tasks
- Overall planning of on-site inspections (taking into account the defined supervisory priorities) as well as coordination within FINMA together with the other team members
- Significant contribution to the further development of the VOK methodology and the ongoing improvement of the VOK processes within the framework of the FINMA roadmap
- Ensuring compliance with the standards of the on-site inspection concept and the defined methodology as "2nd Line of Defense" through quality controls and review of the implementation of key controls
- Playing an important role in ensuring recipient-appropriate, timely, and content-consistent VOK reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
- University degree in economics and/or law, ideally with at least 5 years of professional experience in the area of control functions, auditing, or internal audit
- Experience in the control environment of an insurance company is an advantage but not mandatory
- In-depth experience and knowledge in the financial sector and solid knowledge of financial market law issues
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, good communication skills, assertiveness, and good analytical skills
- Flawless written and spoken expression in Italian or French (C2) and good knowledge of German (C1)
