About the job

• You support our team in planning and conducting molecular biological analyses in the fields of forensics (traces) and parentage.
• You interpret the investigation results and communicate the findings to the police and judicial authorities.
• You take on administrative tasks related to the national DNA database EDNAIS.
• You participate in the evaluation and validation of new methods and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of the laboratory.
• You are involved in the quality management of our ISO 17025 accredited department.

• You have a completed scientific university degree with a focus on molecular biology and bring solid experience in molecular biological methods.
• Knowledge in forensic genetics as well as in quality management is an advantage but not a requirement – what matters more to us is your enjoyment of careful and reliable work.
