Job information
We are seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to ongoing efforts to develop regenerative strategies for spinal cord injury. The successful candidate will work at the interface of gene therapy, in vivo rodent models, and advanced transcriptomic and histological techniques, within a dynamic and collaborative group.
The position is funded and available beginning September 1, 2026. Contract duration is initially one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Your qualifications
The postdoctoral researcher will:
- Design and execute in vivo experiments using rodent models of spinal cord injury
- Perform viral vector-based gene therapy approaches (AAV and/or lentiviral) including surgical injections
- Carry out immunohistochemical analyses and advanced fluorescence imaging
- Apply and analyse gait and kinematic assessments of locomotor recovery
- Contribute to single-nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics workflows
- Perform cell culture and cell grafting experiments as required
- Analyse and interpret complex multimodal datasets and present findings at lab meetings and conferences
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and grant reporting
- Mentor junior lab members (PhD and masters students, research assistants)
