About the job
The Office for Urban Development is responsible for the further development of living and residential spaces, the business location, as well as the Smart City. In the topic of living space, the focus is on "Social Space / Integration," which involves respectful coexistence of a diverse population and the promotion of social spatial developments that meet the needs of the population. We are guided by the principles of sustainable development.Your Tasks
From August 1, 2026, or by arrangement, you will support the team of the Office for Urban Development in the core topic "Living and Residential Space" for eight to twelve months. Your area of responsibility includes, among other things, the following activities:- Participation in the information and advisory service "infoDesk" (1-2 days/week)
- Participation in ongoing projects in the area of social space/integration and/or developing and implementing your own project, such as Neighborhood Day
- Project-related coordination and mediation between neighborhood actors and key persons in the administration and promotion of networks in the neighborhoods
- Preparation of concepts, protocols, decision-making bases, and reporting
Your Profile
- You are studying Social Work at a university, preferably with a focus on sociocultural animation or social space-oriented social work
- Interest in various fields of knowledge in urban and neighborhood development, social space, integration/migration, and counseling
- A flair for working within the administration and with the diverse population of the city
- Independent, responsible, and proactive working style as well as enjoyment of diverse tasks
- Outgoing, open, and team-oriented personality who likes to contribute ideas
