The privately run senior center in the heart of the city of Winterthur offers a living and life space for around 150 residents where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Senior Center Wiesengrund is a recognized and popular facility in the healthcare sector.
Our highly motivated housekeeping team takes care of the basic and maintenance cleaning of the rooms and apartments of our residents, all public areas and ancillary rooms in the Senior Center Wiesengrund, as well as laundry services.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Housekeeping Specialist EFZ 80% - 100%
What you can achieve with us:
- Perform maintenance and spot cleaning tasks (including residents' rooms, living groups, public zones, office areas, infrastructure rooms, windows, wardrobes)
- Intermediate and deep cleaning tasks
- Preparation of residents' and operational laundry (sorting, stain treatment, washing)
- Folding and distributing operational and residents' laundry
- Perform administrative tasks
- Inventory management and ordering
- Carrying out various housekeeping duties
What you bring:
- Very good written and spoken German skills and good listening comprehension of Swiss German
- Completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ
- Completed course as a vocational trainer or several years of experience as a practical trainer
- IT experience (Word, Excel, digital ordering platforms)
- Quick comprehension and reliability
- Ability to keep a cool head in hectic situations
- Independence and adaptability in a very agile environment
- Willingness to work weekend and holiday shifts
