A Medical Secretary at DISA - Adolescent Consultation
To complete the team of the interdisciplinary adolescent health division (DISA), the Women-Mother-Child Department is looking for a medical secretary between 80 and 100% for a start date to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME), the Pediatrics Service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other department services such as neonatology, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics.
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division is a consultation attached to the DFME, dedicated to young people aged 12 to 20 years and addresses health-related questions or problems such as: overall health, sexual health, eating disorders, etc.
Mission
- You ensure the quality of patient and family reception (information, advice, and possibly referral to other services)
- You collaborate in the administrative management of patients (managing appointments, scheduling exams, interventions, summons, etc.)
- You participate in the administrative operation of the consultation (administrative support to the various division stakeholders).
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You are comfortable with adolescents and know how to adapt your communication style to your interlocutors
- You demonstrate rigor and have a sense of organization and priorities
- You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You show good stress resistance
- You can demonstrate good mastery of common computer tools
- You have experience in a group practice and/or with adolescents, which would be additional assets.
