SONCEBOZ is an industrial group, a world leader in the field of mechatronic drive systems. Within our highly integrated group, electronic solutions are designed, industrialized, and produced internally, in direct connection with the mechatronic teams and the sites based in Boncourt and Sonceboz-Sombeval. To strengthen the electronics team of the Industrial Applications division, we are looking for an Embedded Electronics Development Engineer capable of intervening throughout the entire development cycle, from specifications to validation. Integrated into a versatile team of 5 engineers, you will be responsible for the development and validation of embedded boards and software for various applications: actuators for industrial applications, off-road vehicles, agricultural machines, medical devices, etc. Your main responsibilities: · Analyze customer needs and formalize electronic requirements (specifications, requirements management). · Design electronic boards and · Develop embedded software in C on microcontrollers (MISRA coding rules). · Contribute to the entire V-cycle: specification, design, tests (unit, automated), integration, and validation. · Perform system tests and validations (CAN bus, lab measurement tools) in a regulated context. · Participate in the qualification and industrialization of solutions in connection with internal teams (HW, SW, test stations, production, quality). · You contribute to the development of new practices (continuous integration, use of AI tools for documentation, code generation, or test preparation). You hold a degree from an engineering school (or equivalent) in electronics, embedded systems with a solid foundation in both hardware and software. Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded electronic development (HW + SW) in a demanding industrial context. You master low-level development in C language on microcontrollers and have a good understanding of digital electronics, complemented by solid knowledge in analog (measurements, signal conditioning). You are used to working in regulated environments (automotive, off-road, industrial, medical), with particular attention to rigor, traceability, and compliance with quality processes; knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 25119, ISO 13849 or equivalent) would be an appreciated plus.
