Development Engineer Tool Management (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Evaluation of design drafts and development of new technical concepts
• Design and development of plastic-compatible components and assemblies
• Support in material selection and execution of filling simulations (including documentation)
• Definition of tool concepts as well as testing and approval of tool designs
• Accompaniment of the entire industrialization process up to production release
• Creation and maintenance of tool documentation
• Support during tool sampling and consulting of production plants
• Preparation of rough calculations for component prices and tool investments
• Occasional travel activity

Your qualifications:

• Technical basic training in design, toolmaking, or plastics technology
• Further education as a technician HF or Bachelor FH
• Solid knowledge in plastic injection molding, tool technologies, and manufacturing processes
• CAD experience (Siemens NX); Moldex3D knowledge is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills (B2)
• Independent, team-oriented, and reliable working style
