Located in the Vevey region, between city and

countryside, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with

disabilities due to an intellectual deficiency. A multidisciplinary

and multi-site structure, it offers the people welcomed a particularly harmonious living and

working environment as well as a set of skills

adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual.

Integrated into the Eben-Hézer Foundation, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sister Julie Hofmann. She considers the happiness of the people welcomed as the ultimate goal of her action.

Mission

The "Le Palétuvier" group welcomes

adults with disabilities with associated disorders or

psychiatric disorders. The majority of residents are autonomous in their

mobility; communication aid tools play an important role in

support. The guiding principle of these groups is oriented towards

predictability and structuring. To complement the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (M/F).

Desired profile

Be in possession of a diploma as a social educator ES or HES, or a diploma as a nurse HES, or a CFC as a socio-educational assistant

Have experience in the field of intellectual deficiency

Be comfortable managing behavioral disorders and during aggression

Be comfortable with care and non-verbal communication

Adopt a caring attitude, and be patient by nature
