Our 18-month graduate programme offers a unique opportunity to develop strong competencies in the wealth management industry while quickly specialising to evolve as a Junior Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst. During the programme, our graduates work within one dedicated team, and a series of rotations is planned to build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our activities. They gain exposure to a wide range of experts within the firm and form part of an international graduate network. On the technical side, they prepare for a specific certification, while the Group Graduate Training Programme aims to develop their soft skills. Your role
Investment Platform:
Co-headed by the Head of Investments & CIO and the Head of Investment Offering of Pictet Wealth Management, the Investment Platform regroups close to 300 investment professionals across macro and quantitative research, equity and fixed income research, advisory services, fund selection, asset class experts, sales management, COO office and discretionary portfolio management.
Programme Highlights:
• Rotational Experience: Develop your business know-how and gain hands-on experience by rotating across different teams within the Investment Platform, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of our operations and strategies and laying the foundations for your career.
• Skill Development Workshops: Participate in workshops focused on enhancing interpersonal and self-leadership skills, crucial for your professional growth.
• Professional Certification: Pursue a globally recognized professional certification such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), fully supported by the bank.
• Networking Opportunities: Build a robust professional network with peers, setting the stage for a successful career in finance.
• Mentorship and Support: Work alongside experienced investment professionals and receive regular feedback and support from your manager, HR, and assigned mentors or buddies.
Starting with a permanent position allows you to immediately integrate into our team and contribute meaningfully while you develop your skills and knowledge through the programme.
Your profile
We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals who are eager to start their careers and possess the following qualifications and skills:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Academic excellence and a strong interest in banking are essential.
• At least six months' experience working in the financial industry for an international company or in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
• Interpersonal Skills: Proactive in building relationships and demonstrating empathy and cultural awareness.
• IT Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with financial software and tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in a work-related, academic, or personal international context, demonstrating adaptability and a global perspective.
• Strong involvement in extracurricular activities, contributing to specific projects (academic, humanitarian, etc.), is highly appreciated, showcasing initiative and leadership potential.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and French.
