\n\n\nWhat you do\n\nIn this role, you take over the leadership and further development of a team of 4–6 administrative employees and ensure that all logistical processes function efficiently, with high quality, and in compliance with regulations. You ensure a structured onboarding, promote continuous learning within the team, and create a culture characterized by respect, trust, and solution-oriented thinking.
You are responsible for the entire operational logistics: from organizing and monitoring international import shipments to managing goods receipt and shipping processes in the warehouse, to preparing export documents as well as selecting and monitoring external transport service providers. You always keep international regulations and standards (IATA DGR, ADR, IMDG) in view and ensure smooth and optimized processes.
In direct exchange with our international customers, you ensure first-class service quality. You work closely with the warehouse team and site management, define and track relevant KPIs, prepare meaningful reports, and support internal and external evaluations. Additionally, you are responsible for preparing customer invoices, participate in the month-end closing, and actively engage in budget processes. General administrative tasks also belong to your versatile area of responsibility.
\n\n\nWhat you bring\n\nYou have completed commercial or logistics training, ideally supplemented by further education in logistics, business administration, process management, or leadership. Several years of experience in logistics – preferably in an international environment – as well as proven leadership experience are indispensable for this position.
You bring solid knowledge in import and export business as well as in handling international transports. Experience in customs is a plus. Analytical thinking, process understanding, and confident handling of numbers, KPIs, and reports characterize you. You are comfortable with ERP systems and digital tools.
You communicate clearly and professionally, act customer-oriented, and convince with a confident appearance. Even in demanding situations, you remain structured, prioritize confidently, and find pragmatic solutions. Assertiveness, flexibility, and team spirit complete your profile. Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, are required; additional languages are welcome.
