Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you take responsibility for procurement in the areas of telecommunications and network control technology and represent this topic as an ambassador within purchasing and across departments. As a Procurement Manager, you are responsible for your product groups and ensure close coordination with internal stakeholders to achieve the jointly defined strategic and operational goals. Your further tasks include:
- Design and take responsibility for category management in telecommunications & network control technology – from strategic orientation to operational implementation
- Plan, coordinate and accompany procurements in the ICT area – according to public procurement law (BöB/VöB) and our internal guidelines
- Work closely with project managers and specialist departments – review and optimize requirements together and ensure timely, market-appropriate and high-quality procurement
- Shape the standardization and optimization of ICT tenders
- Analyze procurement markets – identify opportunities, risks and trends to ensure long-term supply security and cost efficiency
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies – in close exchange with our specialists and with a view to market and industry developments
- Manage and optimize the supplier portfolio – evaluate performance, risks and market changes to sustainably secure quality, deadlines and costs
- Be responsible for claim management – in close cooperation with the legal department and relevant stakeholders
- Drive the further development and implementation of sustainable procurement in the ICT area
- Actively shape the further development of Procurement & Claim Management – e.g., by initiating or leading development projects focusing on resilience, cost-effectiveness and digitalization

For this position, we are looking for a committed personality with pronounced analytical, conceptual and communication skills to successfully master complex and interconnected tasks. Team spirit is important to you, and even in hectic situations, you keep a clear head. You approach conflicts constructively and set priorities in the interest of projects and the company. In addition, you bring the following:
- Technical or business education ideally supplemented by further training in electrical engineering, computer science, information technologies
- Several years of experience in procuring complex IT solutions or telecommunications including contract design and negotiations according to procurement law (BöB/VöB)
- Several years of experience dealing with claims and negotiating contract conditions at management level, such as maintenance extensions
- Confident appearance, high resilience and strong communication skills; persuasion and assertiveness are among your core competencies
- Structured working method with a strong analytical-conceptual mindset and clear solution orientation
- Knowledge of SAP and purchasing modules (SAP S4 and Ariba) is an advantage
- In addition to fluent German skills in spoken and written form, you have very good knowledge of English
