"Weighing & Instrument Components" (MTWIC) is a leader in the industrialization and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire MT group. For our MTWIC business unit, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated personality as a Production Engineer 100% (all genders) at our location in Nänikon-Greifensee, our global operational headquarters. In this role, you will take on the following tasks: As a technical expert, you are the main contact person for production processes and technologies of scales and load cells. Specifically, these are: assembly, cleaning, gluing, grinding, balancing processes as well as metrological testing processes. You lead projects regarding production/process workflows and ensure their continuous optimization. You bring your technical expertise into NPDI projects to design production efficiently and quality-oriented according to DFMA principles. You provide 2nd-level support for disruptions in the assigned production processes, solve quality cases with structured root cause analyses, and act as a liaison between production and the corresponding specialist departments. You create technical documentation to secure important process knowledge within the company and make it available for future projects. You coordinate and implement technical changes in production, taking into account the engineering change management process. You initiate and lead projects for operating equipment and introduce them into production.
