Product Manager (m/f)

Regent Lighting, based in Basel, employs around 600 people in six countries, is the market leader in Switzerland and one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Europe. Our products are distributed internationally in 35 countries through distribution partners.

Our Product Management department in Basel is responsible for the entire product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle – from the idea through market launch and further development to phase-out. It acts as a link between market requirements, technical solutions, and product marketing.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the product portfolio in the area of floor lamps, mobile lamps, New Work, our intelligent IoT-enabled lamps as well as spotlights and downlights
• You analyze markets and competitors, identify trends, and develop new product ideas from them
• You develop new products in close cooperation with development, sales, and marketing
• You accompany products throughout the entire lifecycle – from introduction through maintenance to phase-out
• You define pricing and positioning strategies in coordination with sales
• You train and support our sales team and answer technical customer inquiries – including from key accounts
• You work closely with international locations and external partners

Your profile

• You have completed a technical or business education, ideally with further training in product management
• You bring experience in product management, preferably in the field of electrical engineering, lighting, or related industries
• You have a good technical understanding, especially with regard to industrial applications and products for electrical wholesale
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented
• You are strong in communication, confident, and enjoy working in a team
• You have very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
