Assistant Physician for the Angiology Service
The Angiology Service is looking for an assistant physician with a workload between 80% and 100% starting from November 1, 2025, or a date to be agreed upon, for a duration of 1 to 3 years.

Context
The Vaud University Hospital Center (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.
Our service is one of the largest angiology centers in Switzerland, with over 20,000 annual consultations across all vascular domains:
- Arterial and venous pathologies, including VTE and peripheral artery diseases
- Complex lymphatic pathologies with a dedicated hospitalization unit
- Rare vascular diseases and congenital vascular malformations
- Advanced interventional angiology: varices, pelvic, deep venous occlusions
- Vascular access for hemodialysis
- Aortic pathway (with CEUS)
- Specialized consultations: cardiovascular prevention, lymphedema

Mission
Your missions will consist of:
- Taking care of and ensuring follow-up for outpatient and hospitalized patients
- Participating in the (supervised) on-call duties of the service
- Actively participating in weekly colloquia, multidisciplinary meetings, and literature reviews
- Getting involved in the service's research projects
- Collaborating closely with the vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, and cardiology services within a common thematic department dedicated to cardiovascular diseases, promoting integrated, innovative, and multidisciplinary care.
Profile
- You hold a Swiss federal medical diploma or a title recognized by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO)
- You have completed a prior 2-year training in general internal medicine
- You are particularly motivated by vascular medicine
- Rigour, teamwork, clinical sense, and motivation are your strengths
- You master French, level B2 required.
