Controller (m/f) 80-100%

In this versatile role, you will contribute to the further expansion of our operational accounting and corporate controlling. You will work across locations with our teams in Switzerland and Germany and support managers and executive management as a competent business partner. With sound analyses, clear key figures and practical recommendations, you will make a significant contribution to the financial and operational management of our company.

Your tasks

You are responsible for the monthly controlling closing including cost centre and contribution margin accounting as well as KPI reporting. You create and further develop the monthly reporting, performance reporting and management reporting.

In close cooperation with the CFO, executive management and specialist departments, you accompany the budgeting, planning and forecasting processes. You prepare forecasts, target-actual comparisons, variance analyses, profitability calculations and ad hoc evaluations and derive appropriate measures to achieve targets.

In addition, you take on tasks in investment and inventory controlling, accompany investment projects and participate in rolling inventory and stock audits. You support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements from a controlling perspective and prepare the necessary documents for audits and financial audits.

You continuously develop controlling instruments, financial processes and reporting structures, ensure high data quality and participate in projects for digitalisation, process optimisation and cost improvement. As a business partner, you advise managers on business management issues and support the finance team in controlling topics. If necessary, you also deputise for the CFO in defined areas of responsibility.

Your profile

You have a professional certificate in finance and accounting, a business degree with a focus on finance or controlling, or a comparable further qualification. In addition, you bring at least two to three years of experience in controlling and/or finance and accounting; experience in a production or industrial company is an advantage.

You are familiar with budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes from practice and have good knowledge of cost accounting, KPI management and managerial accounting. You are confident in accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations; knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is a plus.

You use Excel very confidently and have experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of ABACUS, Power BI and LucaNet is advantageous. French language skills in spoken and written form from level B1 are desirable.

You think analytically, structured and entrepreneurially. You work independently, carefully and solution-oriented, take responsibility and actively advance topics. You can communicate complex financial information clearly and appropriately for the audience. As an open and team-oriented personality, you appreciate working with different departments and keep an overview even in a dynamic environment.
