Job description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert - Data Protection - M/F/X to join our team in French-speaking Switzerland and lead the management and optimization of IT data security, ensuring the coordination of resources and the performance of protection measures in an international and dynamic environment

🔥 Your responsibilities

Define the data security strategy and configuration requirements for hosting sensitive data on the cloud and on-premises.
Implement, maintain, and improve information protection solutions (cloud & on-prem).
Identify leakage channels and propose a coverage program; establish proactive detection of risky behaviors.
Manage data breach incidents, validate alerts, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor deployment plans and coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
Participate in data security-related projects and support cross-functional initiatives.
Contribute to steering committees with suppliers and proactively manage performance gaps.
Propose continuous improvements: process analysis, technology watch, reporting, and documentation.

🎯 Your profile

Higher education in computer science and proven experience of 5 to 7 years in IT security.
Mastery of cybersecurity methods and standards: cryptography, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, CIS.
Expertise in DLP on workstations, servers, and cloud.
Proficiency with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender solutions; knowledge of Varonis appreciated.
Experience in data classification and DLP policy configuration.
Participation in data leak investigations and incident response.
Recognized analytical and writing skills; ability to organize and prioritize.
Fluent in French and English; scripting knowledge appreciated.
