Automotive Mechatronics Technician with Diagnostic Specialist Training
Activities
- Diagnosing and fixing electronic malfunctions, solving technical problems as well as repair and maintenance work
- Your diagnostic and repair work includes the following areas: engine mechanics, electrical systems and energy/start systems, power transmission systems, chassis and brake systems, hybrid, plug-in and electric drives
- Repair of complex functional malfunctions
- Optimization of diagnostic/repair processes
- Solution-oriented collaboration with the manufacturer, independently generating alternative solutions if the standard procedure does not lead to the desired result
- Communication and explanation of the diagnosis vis à vis customers
- Passing on relevant information to colleagues
- Supporting the entire workshop team
Requirements
- Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician / auto mechanic
- Completed further training as an automotive diagnostician
- Professional experience as an automotive diagnostician
- You are a doer, work intuitively correctly, purposefully, independently and with a lot of initiative, you remain calm and keep an overview in stressful situations
- You are team-oriented, loyal and also willing to perform more routine workshop tasks or represent the workshop management
- Professional experience in the areas of electric and hybrid drives
- Good knowledge (spoken and written) of German and English. Additional foreign languages are a plus.
- Driver's license category B, other categories are an advantage
