About the job

• you ensure together with your colleagues the installation, operation and expansion of the entire physical and virtual ICT infrastructure as well as the packaging of applications and software distribution
• you take over the installation and maintenance of servers and clients (physical and virtual)
• you are responsible for the backup and restore infrastructure/system area
• you are responsible for the operation (patch management and monitoring), expansion and maintenance of the Windows and Citrix environment as well as the virtual VMware environment
• you support your colleagues in the administration and maintenance of MS Active Directory (AD), Exchange and SQL environments as well as in the areas of security, network and SOC
• you plan and carry out system and application releases/migrations
• you create concepts and specifications and carry out projects/initiatives
• you are actively involved in the IT hotline (first and second level support/helpdesk) and on-call service

• you have completed training as a computer scientist EFZ or a comparable education as well as several years of professional experience in computer science
• you have good knowledge and several years of experience in the area of backup and restore
• you have good knowledge in the area of server and desktop virtualization; experience in the Citrix environment is an advantage
• you are proficient in the areas of Windows Server and Windows Client administration
• you are an open, committed and communicative person who values direct customer contact
• you are characterized by your high social competence, service orientation and quick comprehension
