Then we might be a good match – due to the retirement of the previous position holder, we are looking for a Workshop Manager 100% for the municipal depot of the city of Olten starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the workshop and leadership and development of the team
• Participation in the maintenance, repair, and care of municipal vehicles
• Ensuring that the vehicles comply with applicable legal regulations
• Planning periodic service work
• Participation in strategic decisions and investment planning
• Preparation of specifications for vehicle procurement
• Ordering spare parts and invoice control including budget responsibility
• Head of winter service on call duty
• Safety officer in the municipal depot area

Expectations

• Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician EFZ,

agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ, truck mechanic EFZ

or equivalent training

• Broad expertise in mechanics and electronics as well as experience in e-mobility
• Solid knowledge in modern diagnostics and repair technology
• Experience in team leadership
• Organizational talent and sense of priorities
• Quality and safety awareness
• Sense of responsibility and team spirit
• Assertiveness, sociability, and good manners
• You hold a category B driving license with trailer,

Category C truck license is an advantage

• Residence near Olten (due to winter on-call service)
