About the job
The Catholic Church of the City of Lucerne comprises ten parishes, two networks with city-wide specialist departments, and an office. Around 300 employees work together for a lively church and social community.
The Migration & Integration department sets important impulses in the city of Lucerne: it promotes interreligious dialogue, supports refugees, and develops concrete integration projects. The department team consists of the head and four employees.
Due to the retirement of the long-standing position holder, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Together with your team, you will shape and develop the department innovatively and future-oriented. You lead the employees, support them in their work, and lead or accompany projects.
- You network the department with organizations, projects, and initiatives in Lucerne and the surrounding area that are committed to peaceful coexistence of people from different backgrounds.
- You perform foundational work, create concepts, and develop new projects. You particularly focus on people with precarious residence situations.
- You are the central contact person for professional questions on migration and integration.
