Senior Clearing Business Development (80-100%)

SIX Securities Services operates the processes downstream of securities trading. As part of SIX Securities Services, SIX Clearing plays a key role in the European post-trade value chain, offering highly diversified CCP clearing services with access to multiple trading platforms across Europe.
As Business Development Specialist –Clearing you will get the opportunity to contribute to the growth agenda of SIX’s clearing services across Equities & multiple other asset classes. This includes orchestrating idea portfolios and developing concepts into opportunities, support strategy development, market analysis, support to marketing and sales.
We are open to fill the position either in Zurich or in Madrid.

What You Will Do
- Drive Business Development independently with special focus in Equities Clearing.
- Identify growth opportunities, including new trading venues, regulations and partnerships, supporting in defining the strategic roadmap.
- Manage planned business activities across all areas.
- Support to Sales & Relationship Management in client meetings and with the creation of materials.
What You Bring
- University degree in economics, finance, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in post trade financial services ideally with a client facing role.
- Cash equity knowhow with additional know-how in Derivatives as a plus.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset, self-starter and a team player.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; German and/or Spanish is an advantage.
