Job Description
For our Business IT in the DACH region, we are looking for reinforcement at the Zurich location. In this role, you support customers remotely and on-site at several locations in Switzerland regarding IT matters. From consulting to delivery to problem-solving of our IT solutions, you serve as the business contact person. Additionally, you have the opportunity to actively influence the direction of IT in the DACH region by contributing your experience and ideas to continuously advance the department. In this role, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Supporting IT Sika Switzerland colleagues
- Processing tickets (by phone, remotely, and on-site)
- Performing hardware and software installations
- Participating in projects
- User Help Desk (SPOC) assistance/support
- Microsoft 365 user support
- Mobile device support
- Administrative tasks related to the system landscape
- Inventory of hardware and software
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in IT or further education and certification in the Microsoft environment
- Proven professional experience as an IT helpdesk technician or in a similar role
- Practical experience with Windows environments
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technical products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software (e.g., TeamViewer)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical assistance, both written and verbal
- Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license category B
- Additional certification in Microsoft or similar technologies is a plus
