About the job

In this key role, you are responsible for the financial accounting of several companies, lead a dedicated team, and actively shape the further development of our financial processes – especially in the context of the upcoming introduction of SAP S/4HANA in 2027.

Your area of responsibility

• Professional and personnel management of a team of 5 employees
• Overall responsibility for financial accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting)
• Ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analysis and reconciliation of accounts as well as preparation of financial data for internal stakeholders
• Responsibility for VAT returns as well as withholding and payroll taxes
• Close cooperation with controlling, group finance, and operational areas such as purchasing and sales
• Contact person for internal and external audits
• Responsibility for the internal control system (ICS) in accounting
• Co-design and further development of digitization and automation initiatives in the finance area
• Process responsibility in financial accounting within the framework of the ERP transformation to SAP S/4HANA as well as in the ongoing operation of Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Responsibility for finance-related systems and tools (e.g., accounts payable workflow, expense solutions)
• Promotion of professional competence, personal responsibility, and development of the team
• Responsibility for the training and supervision of commercial apprentices in financial accounting

Your profile

• Professional in finance and accounting with a federal diploma
• Several years of experience in leading or deputizing a financial accounting department, ideally in an industrial company
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR
• Experience with ERP systems and financial processes (ideally SAP or Dynamics)
• Very good Excel skills
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong hands-on mentality and leadership skills
• Very good German and good English skills
