Material Handler II - limited to 1 year
This role supports the GMP-compliant handling of all processes in the warehouse area.
Your tasks:
Efficient and GMP-compliant handling of the goods flow
Compliance with and enforcement of specific regulations in warehouse management, especially GMP rules, hygiene and safety regulations, and the relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and packaging instructions
Goods receipt and goods receipt booking in the ERP
Operation of the warehouse management system
Proper and species-appropriate storage
Picking of orders to supply production
Return of material after inspection by Quality Control (QC)
Execution of internally required packaging material sample withdrawals
Conducting inventories
Opening and processing of problem reports in the deviation management system
Ensuring active, timely, and appropriate communication of progress and difficulties to colleagues and supervisors
Active participation in identifying, communicating, and solving problems and inefficiencies as well as in improvement opportunities
Co-responsibility for embodying a culture of improvement in the department
Responsibility for timely execution of projects according to agreements with project groups and supervisors
Your profile:
Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ or comparable qualification. Alternatively, at least 2 years in a comparable position in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar warehouse area. Additional training is an advantage (e.g., specialist diploma)
Excellent communication with employees, colleagues, and supervisors in German (spoken and written)
Proficiency in German language spoken and written, good English skills are an advantage
Ability to solve problems, mathematical and technical understanding
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently even under stress and in a multicultural environment
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office), ERP systems are an advantage
