Forge Department Maintenance Technician

Main responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on presses, hammers, and forging furnaces.
• Carry out preventive and scheduled inspections on equipment, reducing machine downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and safely.
• Collaborate with the production department and the technical office to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Update maintenance records and report technical improvement proposals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in forging, steelworks, or heavy metalworking environments.
• Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic automation.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding systems.
• Familiarity and skill in mechanical and manual work.
• Teamwork attitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety.
