Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Chief Concierge, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Being available to direct supervisors (Doorman or Baggage Coordinator depending on assignment) or their representative for all requests for room delivery, baggage handling, client vehicle retrieval, various errands, or accompaniment in the city of Monaco
- Providing mail service (Post, Press), various purchases (client orders via concierge)
- Respecting the LQA standards of the chain
- Providing Corporate trips if necessary
- Helping to improve service by proposing new projects
- Supporting the valet service if necessary.
- Performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by supervisors.
- Attending communication meetings as broadcasted
- Regularly checking the cleanliness and good condition of equipment
- Respecting current hygiene and safety standards
- Knowing and applying safety procedures, in relation to Fairmont Raffles Hotels International standards
Qualifications
- Holder of a valid category B driving license for more than 2 years
- Preferably 2 years of experience in a luxury establishment
- Required knowledge of first aid in case of accidents
- Good command of French and English, knowledge of Italian is an asset
- Additional language appreciated
- Team spirit and initiative
- Excellent presentation
- Ability to manage multiple requests as well as last-minute changes
- Motivated and willing
- Good knowledge of Monaco (streets, public places, shops)
- Ensure good relations with other departments
