Job description
ServiceNow Senior Developer with Integrations
ServiceNow Solution Consultant position is a technical role responsible for design, providing guidance and consulting on client facing solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform and Integrations. This position will be focused on complex integrations between ServiceNow and the other upstream and downstream systems ensuring seamless data exchange and process automation across the enterprise.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as primary technical point-of-contact for ServiceNow platform capabilities and integrations in the project and as the face of the development team to the customer.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Lead the design and development of ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and other technologies.
- Develop and maintain custom APIs, web services, and data transformation logic.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including performance bottlenecks and data mismatches.
- Maintain documentation for integration architecture, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in integration development.
- Facilitate client workshops and conduct interviews to drive stakeholder consensus on requirements and solutions
- Ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems
- Write/estimate Stories, monitor developer’s work, and own overall quality and delivery of development; may perform a portion of development on Stories that cannot be delegated
- Leads the Team in implementation of technical best practices, policies and procedures
- Responsible for Prototype building, Sprint demos, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation
- Help mentor Developers, Technical Consultants, and other Solution Architects in relation to technical design standards and implementation of best practices
Skills and Experience
- 7+ years overall experience in designing and implementing complex ITSM, ITOM (CMDB, CSDM), Scoped application and ITIL processes with at least 5 years focused on integrations.
- Strong expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and MID Server.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with tools such as SAP, Workday, Azure AD, Jira, SCCM, or custom applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, XML, and PowerShell or Python scripting.
- Experience in design and configuring MID servers
- Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, and HRSD modules.
- Atleast 10 distinct integrations experience like Teams, Pagerduty, Azure, slack, SAP
