The Pöschwies Correctional Facility (JVA) is one of seven main departments of JuWe. With 399 places, JVA Pöschwies is the largest closed correctional facility in Switzerland for male offenders. It fulfills a central state function and, according to legal mandate, takes into account the resocialization of prisoners and the protection of the public.
In the Department of Elderly and Health, prisoners who require more intensive care are housed.

- With creativity and motivation, you plan and lead leisure and group activities
- You reliably and carefully handle administrative tasks
- You actively contribute your observations and ideas in team meetings and discussions
- Through cell, person, and order checks, you ensure safety and structure
- Additionally, you are willing to engage in the company fire brigade
What you bring

- Experience in a caregiving or social role is an advantage
- High mental and physical resilience combined with team spirit, responsibility, and confident demeanor
- A stable, empathetic personality who remains calm and solution-oriented even in difficult situations
- Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as secure MS Office skills; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends
- Minimum age 25 years and a clean criminal record
What we offer you
- Look forward to a versatile and meaningful activity in an exciting and non-routine work environment
