Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, adolescents, and families are at the center of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
The kjz (Child and Youth Welfare Center) is a polyvalent counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates based on the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich. Are you interested in committing yourself to the well-being of children and adolescents? Then become part of our team as a social worker (60%) starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
You will advise and support children, adolescents, mothers, and fathers within the framework of child protection measures and on a voluntary basis. In addition, you will conduct assessments in cases of child welfare endangerment on behalf of the KESB. In fulfilling your duties, you will work closely with authorities, schools, other institutions, and specialist offices.
You bring:
- a completed degree in social work from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent qualification
- experience in youth and family welfare as well as case management
- a persuasive, goal-oriented, and assertive personality
- high social competence as well as good written and oral communication skills
- systemic thinking ability and enjoyment of administrative tasks
