Social Pedagogy Apprenticeships HF/FH (60-70%)
The Schmelzi Foundation provides people who are in a difficult life situation and cannot manage their everyday life alone with a home, individual care, and as much time as they need to stabilize.
For this purpose, the foundation operates various residential and employment offers.
In our residential groups Frohheim, Castello, and Dorfacker (location Zuchwil), a part-time apprenticeship position as a social pedagogue (HF/FH) will be available from 01.08.2026. A three- or four-year training period is preferred.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship place at a recognized FH/HF or in the admission process
- Sense of responsibility and reliability
- Resilience, openness, empathy
- Strong communication skills
- You are committed and enjoy working in a team
- Willingness to work weekend and evening shifts (no night shifts)
- Driver's license
Scope of duties as a learning field
- Advice and assistance with everyday life management (reference person system)
- Contacts with referring agencies, pay offices, doctors, relatives
- Various administrative tasks (case management with GbM / P&D)
- Guidance and support with practical everyday tasks
- Participation in admissions and discharges of clients, medical and pedagogical measures, and implementation of meaningful support planning
- Accompaniment to appointments
- Support and accompaniment of leisure activities
