About the job

The city of Rorschach offers water lovers and sports enthusiasts a beach pool with two swimming pools, a paddling pool, and a large slide in a unique setting. On nice days, up to 5000 people visit our beautiful beach pool by the lake daily.

For the 2026 season, we are looking for a lifeguard for the beach pool in Rorschach at about 50% (mid-May to mid-September 2026)

Your exciting area of responsibility

Supervision and monitoring of bathers
Ensuring compliance with the bathing regulations
Monitoring the technical system
Maintenance and care of the infrastructure
Support with cleaning

What you bring with you.

Current igba Pro certificate (BiP), Pro Pool SLRG certificate (including BLS-AED according to SRC)
First aid training
Willingness to work on 6 weekdays on an hourly wage basis
Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
