What you can achieve
- Review and initiation of immigration law measures
- Screening and preparation of hardship case applications
- Clarification of facts as well as drafting and editing legal documents within the administrative procedure (legal hearing, order or consultation)
- Planning and execution of deportation enforcement including exit interview, travel organization, application for entry bans and ordering of coercive measures
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with authorities at the municipal, cantonal or federal level
- Management and evaluation of topic-specific statistics
- Answering inquiries at the counter, by phone and email
- Legal research and description of internal processes
What distinguishes you for this
- Completed tertiary education or commercial apprenticeship (at least E-profile) with several years of professional experience
- Interest in public administration and migration law and legal issues
- Confident handling of common IT applications, especially MS Office
- Very good written and spoken expression in German and English, additional foreign language skills are an advantage
- Independent and efficient working style
- Networked thinking and the ability to set priorities correctly
- Balanced personality with high resilience
