In the Program and Partnerships team, we focus on the themes: Climate Action and Diversity & Inclusion.

Our three locations: Kraftwerk, Colab, and Viadukt house meeting and workshop rooms, an extraordinary event hall, as well as two lively cafés and a restaurant.

Main tasks

Fundraising & Partnerships (core task)

• Leading fundraising activities (identifying opportunities, relationship management, conceptualization and proposal creation, writing applications, negotiation, closing), focusing on foundations and public institutions
• Active acquisition of new mandates, building new client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships
• Further development and maintenance of the partner network, active representation of IHZ externally
• Designing the P&P strategy (which projects, why, how they fit into the overall offering) in the co-lead setup

Financial management

• Responsibility for budgeting (planning, coordination, controlling, reporting)
• Quarterly forecasting and updating actual figures
• Ensuring correct invoicing, payment monitoring, and integration into the IHZ financial plan
• Close collaboration with finance for the financial management of P&P activities

Processes

• Maintenance and further development of relevant tools (CRM/HubSpot, Notion, …)
• Interface optimization with other Impact Hub Zurich teams (especially Community and Booking)

Requirements

• Several years of experience in fundraising and/or business development
• 5+ years experience as a project or program manager, ideally in the SDG/impact environment
• Financial and budgeting experience (budgeting, forecasting, controlling)
• Strong CRM knowledge (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and enthusiasm for data structures
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Independent, solution-oriented, and precise working style with a "Let’s get it done" mentality
• Strategic and visionary thinking – you recognize potentials and develop pioneering solutions from them
• High social competence, teamwork skills, community connection
• German/English at least C1
