After your introduction, you will be responsible for the design and development of test systems/devices in the field of high voltage technology. In this interesting environment, you will be co-responsible for the design, creation of 3D models, manufacturing documents as well as for the technical documentation of our new high voltage test systems and measuring device generation and actively participate in the further development of our product lines. You will work in the project team from definition to production maturity.

Tasks:
• Design and development of mechanical assemblies, complete systems for high voltage test facilities, as well as device and apparatus construction
• Creation of 3D models, drawings, parts lists and manufacturing documents with modern CAD/PDM systems (e.g. Inventor, Vault)
• Technical design and dimensioning of components considering electrical, mechanical and thermal requirements
• Independent execution of strength and durability calculations (analytical and/or FEM), including static and dynamic structural analyses according to valid standards and guidelines (e.g. FKM)
• Participation in the further development and standardization of existing product lines as well as maintenance of existing products
• Creation of parts lists in the ERP system (SAP), maintenance and updating of technical documents
• Creation of assembly instructions, product documentation as well as technical specifications
• Close cooperation with the departments of electrical engineering, production, purchasing, service and quality assurance as well as logistics
• Support during assembly and commissioning as well as technical clarifications in the after-sales area
• Close cooperation with our engineering team in India
What you bring:
• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable education (e.g. technician with a focus on design)
• Solid knowledge in handling 3D CAD systems (ideally Inventor) and PDM systems (ideally Vault)
• Good knowledge of materials science and manufacturing technology is required
• Professional experience in plant or special machine construction, ideally in the high voltage or test equipment environment, would be advantageous
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally with SAP, would be desirable
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style as well as pronounced team and cooperation skills
• Good communication skills in both German and English complete your profile
