The cantonal identification office of the Migration Office is responsible for Swiss travel documents, data collection for foreigner permits, issuing and administrative processing of apostilles / certifications as well as permits for the traveling trade, showmen, and circus operations. We are looking to strengthen our team in Weinfelden from December 1, 2025, or by arrangement with you as

Your tasks

You will process apostilles / certifications and permits for the traveling trade, showmen, and circus operations received by mail and submitted at the counter.
In addition, you correspond with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, various state chanceries, the Federal Chancellery, foreign general consulates, notary and land registry offices, and other cantonal offices, companies, law firms, cantonal police departments, as well as municipalities.
If necessary, you also support the team in the area of identification products.

Your profile

Requirements for this position are a good reputation and discretion as well as Swiss citizenship. Of course, a commercial basic education, ideally in a municipal or cantonal administration, good PC user skills, fluent oral and written expression, and experience in counter service with cash management and Abacus also belong to your qualifications.
