About the job

• You are responsible for the smooth operation of the Cheese Dairy Rain, especially for production, maintenance, upkeep, environment & quality assurance.
• You take responsibility for collaboration and regular exchange with the milk producers.
• You implement the production specifications from the duty sheet for the production of Le Gruyère AOP and monitor them.
• You are responsible for the personnel and professional leadership of one employee.
• You are responsible for enforcing the applicable inspection plan (raw milk, stage, and final product control) as well as for adhering to the described escalation paths in case of deviations.
• You actively participate in cheese production. As part of this task, you are responsible for the continuous improvement process and the further development of existing production processes.

• You have completed vocational training as a dairy technologist and training as a master cheesemaker.
• You bring several years of professional experience in cheese manufacturing.
• You have a strong technical flair for the maintenance of production facilities.
• You convince with your confident communication and negotiation skills towards suppliers, the variety organization, and within the Emmi world.
• You bring initial leadership experience of a small team.
